Telšių Praktika has been working since March 3, 1965.
In 1992 it became a joint-stock company. Telšių Praktika is a member of the Šiauliai Chamber of Trade, Industry and Handicrafts. The company is situated in Telšiai, which is 100 kilometres away from the Baltic port Klaipėda, 75 kilometres away from Šiauliai and 200 kilometres away from Kaunas and Riga. The enterprise is settled on the coast of the lake Mastis between the Samogitian museum "Alka" and the Telšiai Department of Applied Arts of Vilnius Art Academy.
